Perception Management has long believed in mentoring young practitioners and contributing to professional development within the industry. Some of the ways in which we do this: |
| |
We offer internships regularly and take pride in nurturing the interest of fresh graduates in PR consulting as a career. We have nurtured young interns who rose to senior positions within the firm and in certain cases moved to assume bigger roles in the industry. |
| |
Consultants who have demonstrated exemplary growth and long-term commitment to the firm are eligible for partial scholarships to advance their academic pursuits in related fields. Additionally, Perception Management has institutionalised a scholarship award for eligible final-year students majoring in Public Relations at Malaysian universities. |
| |
Significant training budgets are set aside every year for staff development. To date, more than 40 members of staff have benefited from developmental programmes conducted by the Malaysian Institute of Management, customised courses in specific PR skills offered by specialist firms, and workshops and seminars offered by the Institute of Public Relations, Public Relations Consultants Association of Malaysia and other reputed institutions. |
| |
A number of consultants have participated in exchange programmes with PR consultancies in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Similar exchange programmes are being planned every year with consultancies in other PMI Group office locations.
|
| |
Our management and senior resources mentor young practitioners through speaker platforms workshops and seminars and via personal networking groups, as well as contributes career advice and regular time as a guest lecturer at Malaysian universities and colleges.
