  ROGER HAYES  
     

Roger began his career in journalism as a Reuters Correspondent in Paris. He then moved on to Burson-Marsteller, Thorn-EMI and Ford of Europe, where he was responsible for public relations and government affairs throughout Europe. The last decade has seen him at the helm of two promotional and trade bodies in the nuclear energy and electronic communications fields with conferences, publishing, lobby campaigns and trade activities in the UK and internationally.

With a BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and an MA (International Relations) from the University of Southern California, Roger is a regular international speaker on the broader role of business and continues to write books on leadership and change. He is an adviser to the Prince of Wales International Business Leaders’ Forum and an Associate of the European Center for Public Affairs. He is the London-based International Business Advisor for Perception Management International (formally known as Perception Strategies) UK Limited.

   
 
  DR JON WHITE  
     
Dr White specialises in management and organisation development, public affairs, public relations and corporate communications management. An associate of the Henley Management College, he is also a visiting faculty member teaching public affairs at USI Lugano, Switzerland. Jon is an honorary professor of public affairs in the University of Birmingham’s School of Business and a visiting professor at the University of Central Lancashire. He has worked in public and private sector organisations all over the world. His client portfolio includes private companies as well as governments in the UK, Canada, Norway, Slovenia and Macedonia. He has written articles and books on public affairs, public relations and corporate communications practice. One of his works on Dunhill Holdings, won an award from the European Case Clearing House as the European marketing case of the year for 1991, and another on the South African company, Barlow, appeared in Public Relations Cases: International Perspectives (edited by Danny Moss, Routledge 2001). He holds a doctorate from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he teaches corporate communications.
   
 
  MATT GEORGE  
     

London-based journalist and international commentator with wide global experience extending over two decades, Matt has interests in global political, economic, business, development and cultural issues. Previously, Matt held the position of Asia Editor at South, an international magazine specialising in the developing world and North-South issues. He was also the Foreign News Editor of leading Malaysian newspaper, The Star, before he held the position of Sub- Editor with The Times of London for 15 years.

Matt often offers his services as a guest lecturer at the University of Kent, Canterbury, UK and Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, USA. He also trains developing world journalists for the Institute of International Journalism in Berlin. Matt is an associate of Perception Management International (formally known as Perception Strategies) and supports Spokesperson Coaching Workshops in the UK as a key resource.

   
 
  SANDRA MACLEOD  
     
 

Sandra has more than 20 years experience in communications and reputation analysis and evaluation. Her career spans Canada, France and the UK, including PA Management Consultants. Author and lecturer across five continents, Sandra has contributed to books on professional accountability and corporate social responsibility.

Sandra is the first international Board Member and Trustee of the Institute of Public Relations (USA), a fellow member of the Institute of Public Relations (UK), Member of the Guild of Public Relations, Member of the Market Research Society and Editorial Advisor to the Corporate Communications Journal. She has also served as Board Member of Business Links Surrey, representing the SME interests in the region.

   
 
  DR. KALPANA SINHA
     

Dr Sinha is currently an Associate Professor, Academy of Language Studies with UiTM, Shah Alam. She is involved in facilitating, training & consultancy in areas related to business communication skills and language proficiency.

Besides lecturing in business communication at university, she is a keen trainer and consultant for the government and private sectors. She is called upon to facilitate workshops on Grammar for Business Communication, Speech Communication, Report Writing, Meetings and Minutes. She also presents papers at national and international seminars, especially in the area of Reading & Grammar.

Dr Sinha has co-authored a number of textbooks including “English for Business Communication” and “The Floor is Yours”.
